We had some mildly unseasonable weather before the coming snowpocalypse, so I went out to the backyard to look at the beehives. It's looking like I'll have a pretty good population going into the spring! Can't wait for warmer weather.

You’ve probably heard of poison dart frogs - a bunch of cute lil guys that advertise their (sometimes frankly excessive) toxicity with bright colors. BUT dart frogs don’t make their own poisons. Instead, they borrow toxic alkaloids from the bugs they eat & in captivity they can even be nontoxic. 🧪
