Recently came across eleven of these plates at a local op shop. They were made by Villeory and Boch at their Dresden Works in the last quarter of the 19th Century.

Picked up this beautiful unframed William Morris print for $4 at an op shop. It's advertising the Centenary Exhibition at the V&A. It's printed on some kind of synthetic fabric.

This wonderful image reminds me a little of the interior to the first murder set-piece in Argento's Suspiria.

Another find is this lidded tankard, made in Staffordshire about 1850. The ceramic lid screws on and off. The decoration to the lid is unusual, and is an indication of a good quality piece.

One of my recent finds is this 19th Century Chinoiserie plate made by Grainger & Co of Worcester. For a plate that is about 150 years old, the condition is wonderful.

I found six of these Crown Lynn plates at the Habitat for Humanity's 'Restore' Op Shop in Christchurch. The pattern name is 'Tosca', the shape name was 'Forma', the designer was Mark Cleverley, and they were released in 1973.

He still has them! If I still wore suits, I would definitely buy them. At 150 pounds, I think they're great value.

Jim Crow racist segregation was not just an American issue. Here is Gary Williams, defying the "color bar" at a pub in Bowraville, New South Wales, Australia, in 1965.

The wonderful illustrations were drawn by the author herself.

Found this vintage NZ book recently at an Op Shop. The author, Molly Falla, and her family cared for many rescue penguins.

Found this very cool mid century modern desk clock a while ago at a vintage shop. Made in the 1950s in West Germany by a company called Europa.
