We have all dealt with men like Trump. Men who require constant flattery. But as Mayor Mamdani knows, that need for constant praise can make those men very weak indeed.

Ballantynes is still open, on the same site. I often cut through on the way home and gaze wistfully at their Versace coffee pot. $2200.
It's interesting to see MTG and a small layer of other MAGA Republicans breaking away from Trump on the Epstein issue. But I suspect the enormous majority of Trump's followers will remain loyal. They have swallowed thousands of lies - why not this one?

By editing Trump's comments in a deliberately dishonest way, some staff at the BBC did real damage to the political struggle against Trumpism. The only course of action with a chance of political success involves defending the truth without exception.
