I haven't written much since March and sometimes I feel really bad about it but then I remember how much has happened since then.i bought my first house and moved out, setting up new house, tried having a puppy which didn't work out but found our forever dog. I'll write when I'm ready.

I'm considering a rewrite of a manuscript I "completed" last year, changing the whole thing from 3rd person to 1st and changing at least one character's name. It's either going to be amazing or will make me hate writing...

We've had our 9 month rescue dog for almost 3 weeks. Despite spending most of her short life in kennels she is pretty much housetrained, walks well on a lead, and loves people. We are so impressed and proud of her, even when she does our head in.

For me, it varies. Sometimes the title helps guide the chapter and others the chapter needs to come first so I can think of a title to suit it.

I think I'm about to DNF my first book of 2025, permanently or not I'm not sure. Just haven't connected with it so far and even there have been more proofreading errors than I've seen in any book for a long time and it just keeps annoying me.

I get so disproportionately annoyed when I spot minor mistakes in published books. Maybe a good sign for someone who wants to get into freelance proofreading though?

Already know this was a good decision. Writing was a struggle at first and I had pry details out of my brain but in 1st person it's just working. Will have to see if that continues when I'm finished rewriting.
Started writing a new project and it just hasn't been flowing. I started in third person but I think it might need to be in first. So glad I haven't written much yet. Phew.
