Two squirrels (Eurasian vulgaris) in a joyful spirit, bouncing across the branches. The intense energy and fast paced lives of rodents makes me feel like a slow old man.

Witness as they touched noses on a the perch, and then they twirled away into their secret game.

Moss thrives where other plants can’t, not by pushing through, but by embracing shade and moisture. It’s a little reminder that resilience look like softness.

Many cultures recognize the unique beauty and fragility found in the fleeting life of the mayfly.

With the gentle arrival of spring, the colony of red wood ants (Formica rufa) moves steadily, releasing a distinct sound that echoes a few metres away. Although they primarily feed on aphids, their hordes prey on a diverse range of insects.

There’s beauty in seeing familiar plants with fresh new eyes, contrasting their ordinary nature with their unique characteristics.

For example, this Red sea plume #algae that spreads widely. Not only it’s edible, but it could be the solution to our bovine-methane problem.

In Spanish the word for “monkey” (mono) means “cute”.

Looking at this Macaca fascicularis immersed in his newly found nut, don’t you agree?

We can found exotic animals among the local fauna. Sometimes we don’t have to look further, just closer.

Like this cuckoo wasp (Chrysis) in #Luxembourg.

Spotting a sea snake (Lauticada colubrina) it's an exhilarating experience.

It's as venomous as beautiful, so the diver simply can't remain indifferent.

Despite being lethal, they are calm and not aggressive. Better to leave it undisturbed though…

There’s something hard to explain: Nature’s very essence is a living, breathing poem, with lights and motions.
