Just got back from a 2 week trip to India. Was lovely to be back and to visit places that inspired my book as well as seeking inspiration for new things! Bustling Mumbai, the citadel fort of Jaisalmer and laid back Goa.

Author goal achieved - finding a copy of Dream Hunters in Mumbai in one of the biggest bookshops here, Kitab Khana, and getting to sign them!

School visits are one of my favourite things. Great day yesterday with over 200 year 6/7 children. And lovely to catch up with bookseller Sanchita and teacher Zareena both wonderful humans in the kidlit world!

I’ve read some cracking books this month -here are some! From magical MG fantasies to a tale of a mystical creature which needs saving from big pharma to a heartfilled YA of a boy with big dreams - a great month of books. Getting my TBR pile diminished means new books are needed soon, right?!
