Being something does not make it not another thing. Chickens are chickens, they are also birds. An oligoclase crystal is a feldspar, it is a mineral, and it may be part of a rock or (according to all careful geological definitions I've encountered) an entire rock.

The original object appears to be a large piece of fluorite, apparently a single crystal. You might say that it's not a rock, it's a stone, because rocks are naturally occurring, and this has been moved around by humans - but then nothing in a museum is a rock.

I'm not at all confused by any of the sources. However, your first comment here was to say that an object is not a rock, and the definition you base this on - "Aggregate of minerals" excludes a lump of pumice, and therefore does not match geological usage.

Your definition for a rock, because every definition I've seen either includes this, or is geologically dubious (by excluding coal etc)

That's not a definition.

What on earth is your definition of rock that it excludes minerals?

I have a Qobuz subscription, but: 1. Artists are still getting a tiny fraction of your spend. 2. The cases where you notice that additional quality are few.

"Biologist" is a broad group. It includes people who know how to count kangaroos but can't tell a fungus from a lichen. But the people who understand biology best are indeed not professional vibe coders

Not everyone, just you. We're enjoying full democracy; it's mostly just the USA and a handful of countries that have gone backwards in the past few years; others are just reverting to what they were 30 years ago

You've labelled 2010 and 2020 on title/ axis¿

What are the bets that they still haven't fixed this by 2029?

Since y'all don't have rule of law there, we thought y'all'dve had a coup by now

Not useless - it's a tool for generating more bribes.

A good comparison might be Turkiye: Prez installed a sycophant to run the central bank to keep interest rates low; inflation hit 33 percent

And of course, I made a typo, typical for tropical. Is the post not understandable, nonetheless? Could it be improved?
