I read and I cross stitch. And sometimes ride e-bikes.
Day 10 of #LibFaves25- my pick is 1. SO FAR GONE by Jess Walter. Rhys Kinneck has been living in the woods with no contact with anyone for several years. Now he must navigate the modern world in order to rescue his missing daughter.
Funny, poignant, and so relevant to our world today.

#LibFaves25 day 8 is A CASE OF MICE AND MURDER by Sally Smith, a mystery set in the Temple of London in 1901. Barrister Gabriel Ward, who lives in the Temple, is assigned to investigate because the police aren't allowed inside. This was simply delightful!

Today’s #LibFaves25 is WRECK by Catherine Newman – a sequel to SANDWICH, continuing the story of Rocky and her family two years later. Somehow the normal everyday things are laugh out loud funny in Newman’s book.

#LibFaves25 day 6 - 10 MARCHFIELD SQUARE by Nicola Whyte – two residents of a small apartment block in London are recruited by the oldest tenant to discover who killed another tenant. That’s a bland description of a charming mystery in which everyone has a secret. I hope there will be a sequel!

Day 5 #LibFaves25 is I SEE YOU’VE CALLED IN DEAD by John Kenney – An obituary writer who thinks he might be fired after drunkenly publishes his own obituary reevaluates his life choices. Funny, moving, and an all around wonderful read.
