Welcome to day 7 of #LibFaves25: THE CORRESPONDENT by Virginia Evans, a masterful word-of-mouth debut about a chronic letter-writer, a story told entirely in letters and emails. Sybil, the smart, curious, opinionated, an stubborn main character, is one of this years most delightful discoveries.

#LibFaves25 Today I will rave about WILD DARK SHORE by Charlotte McConaghy. A cold dark tale of chaos. A woman comes to Antarctica to find her husband and instead finds a family of caretakers and so many secrets. Wild, mysterious and cautionary all in one.

“Someday, my dad said, things won't be broken any more…till then, we've got to fix what broken things we can.”

From the marvelous, The Country Under Heaven by Frederic S. Durbin.
