my BFF saw a PPT that said their CEO was into MCP but they dont TDD and they dont TIP so their MVP fell of HN,FP. they wanted B2B but got no RSVP so took their IDE plugged in API key and made an RPG that siphoned BTC. now their SAFE is worth 1000g and the MAU are looking quite healthy so 1/2

Excited to share that I’ve joined Foxglove(https://foxglove.dev/) to build out the Solutions Engineering and Fordward Deployed Engineering functions. We’re building the observability stack for robotics and I could’nt be more excited to dive in.

good evening @anthropic.com Claude - this always shows up right as things are getting really good and kills the vibe hard. Do you mean to actively discourage building up context and keeping a good dialog going to get real work done? Maybe better: a CTA to make a summary as a project artifact?

Exocortex ego stroking does make for a convivial working relationship, but fuck it gets old to work with ass-kissers all the time. New dot-file addition ~will be~ is training scripts for how you want a new AI to treat you. We'll invent the perfect new programming languages for It to interface us.

I've debated how much telemetry a CLI _should_ collect at 4 companies. I like @apollographql.com balance of disclosure and how to opt out in `rover` (I was behind the scenes years ago on wanting to know what commands you run, version, and CI tooling to understand use).

Congratulations @vercel.com on successfully getting me from @v0.dev dabbler to first paid seat in a matter of days (paywall to connect an org's GitHub repo). Curious if my LTV will be worth the costs to you. In the short-term, kudos on making the complex simple. Long-term, something something carbon

For the record, Claude told me everything it produces from my prompts is "Work for hire" and my copyright. Surprising nobody I didn't actually read Anthropic's TOS to know if this is true or not, but I'll behave as-if. For the record.

Carbon footprint Confession: tonight I asked Claude to do copy editing and messaging consulting on text that ChatGPT rendered (a dump of a large jumble of my own raw notes). I then took Claude’s report back to ChatGPT as feedback, and made it rewrite the thing the way Claude suggested.

I can’t stop thinking about that thing where adding the word Fucking in front of your searches prevents the AI kicking in. Even better it generally surfaces the reddit thread you actually hoped to find.

Also, in the spirit of explicit - this copy is hilariously terrible. @v0.dev gets an “A” for first impressions of being a ludicrously fast way to get a real thing bootstrapped in real life. It’s on me, I suppose for asking it to write copy.

I wouldn’t normally play this game upon a death, but quintessence achieved… (and I can thank @bug-deal.bsky.social as my source, so now I have an appeal to authority for my justification).
