Well, I’m loving my new car, but the cargo area in the Q5 isn’t what I was expecting. I decided to add the roof rails and the roof storage system for our first snow bird trip to Lake Como coming up later this month. Luckily, it fits under our garage door!

Dang. We didn’t winterize our RV at Lake Como in Lutz, FL when I left in November. This is awfully darned close to freezing!

18 pound ham on the BGE for our family Christmas dinner this afternoon.
I have to say that I'm liking the Combustion products. I've had the Predictive Thermometers for a while, and they're good, but I've only just recently received the Giant Grill Gauge almost exactly a year after I ordered it.

Our leak in the hot tub turned out to be more serious than we had thought. The tech saw a drip at an air bubbler vent, but when he touched it to test it, the pipe completely broke and the spa started to freely drain through the opening.
We drained the spa and his repair was an easy and cheap one.

I have a naturist symbol sticker on my car and a Naturist Society license plate frame on my truck. The only comment I have ever received on either was regarding the license plate frame. Someone in our neighborhood saw it and stopped to introduce herself as a fellow nudist.

The turkey is in the Egg. It’s 28° and breezy outside. The #BGE isn’t holding temp as steadily as it usually does, but the variations aren’t causing any problems with the cook. The bird is looking good!

It's my last morning here at Lake Como this month. I'm heading home today to be home for Thanksgiving. I'll be back next month to receive a warranty shipment. In January, Katie and the dogs will join me down here for a couple of months!

Nope. I have no clue how you’ve gotten 25 years out of a Weber. I used to have gas grills and I’d have to replace them every 3 years or so because they’d rust out.
I bought a big Green Egg just because of the lifetime warranty.

Lake Como's rules require that every rig be at least 5' from the property border. Our delivery guy had placed it perfectly as I had wanted on our pad, but it turns out it was 8" too close to the border. I had to move this behemoth today. My F350 can move it, but I wouldn't tow it on the highway.
