I dislike "Attacker in the Middle", "Adversary in the Middle" or "Monster in the Middle" as alternatives for "Man in the Middle". I suggest "Meddler in the Middle" to preserve describing a technique with prescribing moral weight to the one in the middle. Sometimes, you're working with the system!
