Oddly also have seen juniors reach for Python very quickly when a bit of SQL would do the job faster, quicker, and with less code to write or maintain. Plenty of non intuitive bits there like window functions

Have written a bit about some other things that were a bit unintuitive for earlier folks:

- Testing: offline, shadow, A/B
- Labelling: that it’s never that clear cut in real world settings

Probably less tool specific than your ask though

On the MLOps front, I feel that it was a bit of a moving target a few years ago but the general components (incl. model/feature registry) are now pretty well established
