Still a better idea than Qwikster!

I've been wondering what to do with these #Losi MicroBs I bought. But I think I've got a good idea. R/C race in a box. This is a start! Next up some garden hose for track borders. I'm going to need to build the jumps myself to get the right fit. Setup and race anywhere!

It's been a long time since airlines offered free playing cards on flights. I wonder what this unopened United Airlines pack is worth.

Vance was up in New England to ski this weekend. Here's the sign at Mad River Glen.

My backordered #Losi Micro Buggy came in. So small, but fast!

Well...that is much larger than expected. #TMBG

It was inevitable, really. I raced them seriously as a teenager. Little trucks should be fun in the ski area parking lots! Gotta have two so I can drive faster than someone. 4wd with fast brushless motors!

These look like a customized pair of bog standard Chuck Taylor All-Star Hi-Tops too me. The rubber is too white to be a pair of 70s. As someone who has been wearing Chucks since the 80s, it's always fun to see them come back in to style. Not that I'll ever admit they weren't in style...

Today in 1968, The 100,000th #Triumph #Spitfire, a Mk3, rolled off the production line. Based on a design produced for Standard-Triumph in 1957 by Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti, it was produced from 1962 to 1980. My 1970 was one of the last Mk3s to roll off the line. Photo from 2001.

Hiking up to Gunbarrel at Monarch ski area for a little birthday skiing!

I opened my birthday gift from my parents a few days early, just in case it was something for skiing. Not quite, but a delightful piece from Artworks in Park City. #ski

I just pulled apart my funkbox. I dropped it when I was skiing on opening day. It may look like a 70s boom box, but it's a resto-mod. Bluetooth, LiPo bat, new two-way speakers, and a modern amp. Some connection has gone wonky with the replaced pot for the volume and OG knobs are a bit loose.

I still laugh at the time I convinced my friends to build Bender costumes and descend on a bar named Benders. Benders on benders at Bender's! The staff at the bar was not amused. The gay bar cleared the dance floor for us. I don't think we paid for a single drink. Bite my glorious golden ass!

I ate the more traditional meal.

I hope your black fry day was as good as mine!

Fun fact. The original word for turkey in the Choctaw language is fvkit. Which was pronounced exactly how you think. Which is why this shirt from Merciless Indian Savages is so good.

Whatever. It's not like that's the only car out there that will turn heads. I got this one for $1500.

Finally swapped on the snow tires. As a small dude with only one good arm getting wheels over my head and in to storage was a challenge. This little pulley system sold for field dressing deer and a steel cable from the hardware store makes it all a breeze. Work smarter!

Upgraded Carv sensors. No more foot bed sensors. I'll be very glad to not have to deal with that cable. My Zipfit liners have to be laced up outside the shells. Which are tight enough that I really need that 1.5 mm back. #ski

I was also an early adopter of gmail. I was terribly disappointed to be removed from the "Top City College Bros" fantasy football league right before my draft! I'm not sure why they invited me if they didn't want me to play.

Ski season is here. Time to sew the patches I collected from last season on my gear bag. Banff was cool. Too bad the conditions were terrible. I need to go back soon. #ski
