Chuck Grassley, imo, is the most irritating type of politician - he’s built an entire brand on being folksy and moderate midwesterner but when the chips are down he’s just a partisan hack who doesn’t like to use cuss words.

These Trump tariffs are impressively stupid, even for him. I’m hard pressed to design a policy that will A) inflict quicker and more maximal economic damage B) has basically no benefit, C) is something both liberals and conservatives can hate and D) is directly attributable to the president.

Bluesky is great and all but I just can’t with politics right now. I’ve been a lot less active in all social media and deleted Twitter/X entirely. I’ll probably engage more once I feel like it isn’t detrimental to my mental well-being.
