I have missed the British Library and on Friday met up with an old historian friend and yesterday with my writer/biographer friend, Ian Kelly - pictured here after a brilliant event and book signing. A lovely lunch was had & long overdue catch up.

Lovely visit to Dulwich Picture Gallery to see the Tirzah Garwood exhibition - fabulous in its eccentricity... see the black cat below, disarmingly popping out from the painting on the right! I loved the variety of forms she worked in, print, oils, marbling papers, 3D scenes in butterfly boxes...

I asked the guys at Yorkshire Times Publishing to donate the first set of funds available from sales of Sky Surfing (£1000) to #JuvenileArthritisResearch. We've sold 63 paperbacks, 16 hardbacks and donated 98 copies (contributors/reviewers/libraries/schools).
