Every single Dem leader needs to communicate precisely like a prosecutor at every opportunity. They need to speak the incontrovertible truth that Trump is attempting to tear down the wall of democracy, and they need to be specific about all the ways it is happening. This is essential.

According to MAGA, having mercy on endangered people is radical left ideology.
She said, “May I ask you to have mercy Mr. President on those in our communities whose children fear that their parents will be taken away." If Mike Johnson thinks that’s “radical,” perhaps he has a fundamental misunderstanding of his own religion.

There were two assassination attempts on Trump during the campaign. In both cases Biden responded swiftly and empathetically, and with increased protection for Trump. That reality is juxtaposed by Trump taking security detail away from his "enemies", jeopardizing them and their families lives.

The hardest thing for me to reconcile, regarding Trump/MAGA is that there are family & friends that I love dearly that have been sucked into its vortex, never to return. I'm desperately sad about this, and I know my relationships with those people are forever changed.
