For those who haven't seen "Tender Mercies" or "The Apostle"...you've missed perhaps the best of Duvall, and man, that's really saying something.

Watching as a little girl in the 1960s South, his delicacy in the role of Boo Radley taught me to accept all human beings rather than fear them.

Sad day. Love that movie. Cort was one of a kind.

Here's my favorite shot in "Harold and Maude." It's an entire family history, beautifully enacted by Bud Cort and Vivian Pickles. And the music cue is just perfection.
