I was a big fan of this album when it was originally released, but really hadn't listened to it for a while. Having rectified that issue, it still sounds great even after 40+ years. Pretty much a lock for my top 5.

I have so many questions....

I remember the very first time I heard Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights" on FM radio and being blown away by her vocals. Went out and bought the album that week. Odds are, this will be in my top 5, even with all the competition this time around.

There's a lot of music to like on Candy-O, the sophomore album from The Cars. Definitely on my short list for this round.

However, if it was just based on that Vargas cover art (that he came out of retirement to do), it would be a shoo-in!

It's been an ELO afternoon, listened to all three candidates in this round back to back to back. Great music from high school days.

Tough call to move one to the short list, however, it's going to be A New World Record squeaking through.

Had to start somewhere, and this classic from '72 that I haven't listened to in a long time sounded perfect for tonight. Definitely on my short list for #5albums70s5.

Sunday mornings are for listening to classic rock, and this offering from #5albums70s4 definitely qualifies. Saw them on tour for this album, definitely one of my top 5 concerts ever. Can they make my top 5 this round? There's some serious competition to get through!

Early morning errand had "More than a Feeling" on local FM station, sat in driveway to listen to end of tune, and I took the hint of putting on some music to start my day. I've heard this album referred to as the best debut album ever, and it's a reasonable statement. My top 5? Maybe. #5albums70s4

Headphones on, turned up loud, just like it was when i was a teenager. EL&P's first album has always been a favorite, and even with all the competition in #5albums70s3, it's pretty much a lock for my top 5.
