belief is very infectious at some level. and it feels very much like biggest barrier right now to positive progress is people not believing in anything better. i don't want to be one of those "The Secret" people, but there's no good reason grindset capitalists should have ownership over those ideas.

Hey man my wife says the air of whimsy you hang around yourself feels ill-gotten or false in a way that's palpable but impossible to describe, but which women of experience know in their bones. I think you're pretty cool but she is literally never wrong about this stuff so we can't hang out anymore.
