if you really want independent artists to make the work they're excited about, you're also probably not going to like a lot of it! the edges won't be sanded down by mass-marketing! and yet when people encounter independent art that makes them uncomfortable, it's "problematic" or deemed Terrible

As market season starts to ramp up please remember that stealing from small vendors sucks. It happens every season to everyone I know and we aren’t big box stores, we don’t mass produce our products, and at the end of the day it is surprising it happens as much as it does and it isn’t cool

The majority of vtubers & content creators are honest, but even so there is a fairly large minority who just tick personal use even though they use it to promote their vtubing platform. You have to understand that it’s unfair to artists to purposely underpay them on something you make money on.
