American culture is downstream of British culture, which traditionally didn't use spices much. then after the great depression canned veggies that were cooked by boiling was the preferred method, and that made them taste gross.

I'm happy with the current state of things, and it's only getting better. if you're not gluten-free, try seitan based stuff. it's wonderful

I'd love to grow oil palms and coconut trees in greenhouses. oil palm is very land efficient if not the the issue that it's a tropical plant and they're deforesting land to grow it.

I sit in traffic and wish there was a subway running right outside my home. we need to make public transit good. no shitty busses, no one will take that unless they have to. build as much grade-separated rail transit as you possibly can.

how does "precise AI control optimizes R290 refrigerant use" work? I'm assuming it measures some things with sensors and than analyses it to do something with efficiency?
