this reminds me of the debate over whether or not george zimmerman was racist based on whether or not he might have uttered the n-word and not based on the fact that he stalked and murdered trayvon martin because he equated black male youth in casual attire with violent criminality

the whole discussion around minors being blocked from buying vpns in the uk made me realize how much people comically underestimate how smart a teenager actually is, like it's either that or a lot of people simply could not fathom doing illegal shit when they were kids
