Boy howdy, Helldivers 2 scratches an itch for me. It reminds me of the EDF series between the aliens and bombastic destruction, but trading some of that bombast for more tactical decisions on priorities mid-mission. It's full of wildly viceral assaults and brutal, grinding retreats. Love it.

News is Toys For Bob might be getting dismantled with the latest Microsoft layoffs. They made Crash 4 and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Crash and Spyro were some of my favorite series as a kid. Hot damn.

Ended up getting surprised by how much Suicide Squad: KTJL hooked me, and I've been doing some thinking on why. I think it comes down to solid gameplay I mesh with and lessons it learned from other live-service looter shooters. (1/7)
