Republicans dismissed it as political discourse.
The assailants were all pardoned by Trump. Many of them went on to commit more crimes.

I am in awe of the Americans that took to the streets today to protest for #NoKings . This has been absolutely amazing, and I finally feel a little bit of hope for this country again.
