Understandable. I try to keep aware but I'm also one who tends to stray away from that sort of posting anyways so it can easily miss me.
I have my own issues w/ at least one relatively popular person who continues to get away with some blatant racism (while also being factually wrong majority time)

I was still mutuals with her through that because I believed portions of it was born out of unchecked transmysogynoir and wanted that to stop being the case.
She was also definitely a bully to so many people it made even other outspoken marginalized creators not wanna engage either.

I didn't claim to her know her well, we were really only online friends (mainly on TikTok) and I didn't really talk to her privately..
I didn't claim she did it exclusively for engagement but she did directly and clearly intentionally say inflammatory statements to even folks who agreed with her.

I grew up running from actual cops. I even ran from some earlier this year in a similar context alongside friends. This isn't declaration I'm final arbiter.
