Absolutely - I'm not even sure how exactly you're supposed to lock a bike to this contrivance. Through the wheel??

And heaven help you if you have a non-standard or cargo bike...

I do enjoy walking at #burghley but I'm afraid their cycle parking offer is pathetic.

I've emailed previously and had no response. Tens of thousands spent recently on a new car park, but this is their idea of acceptable secure cycle parking.

How is this repeatedly made into a policy issue - by *all* parties - when the blunt fact of the matter is that grown adults who are obliged to pay for their own education, and relentlessly pursued to repay their loans, should be able to study whatever the fuck they want.

Found this an unexpectedly touching book and not what I expected at all from a "football book".

I don't really watch football but do have a soft spot for teams like Liechtenstein and the Faroe Islands. They should have a place in tournament football.

It's a fantastic story. Some of the frames at the frame running club we go to are Hansen frames so I knew the name but not the history.

We were in Copenhagen in June taking part in the Royal Run and saw a few frame runners - such a great atmosphere and so inclusive! Loved Copenhagen ❤️

I don't think they're well known here. Developed in Denmark for people with cerebral palsy, but we've found it's also a great option for MS. Nice that we can run together again as it's been a few years 😊

Piled the Brompton and the running frame into the car and headed up to see if we could do #rutlandwater #parkrun course on a Sunday afternoon.

Pleased to report it all went well with nearly 4 miles (including the course) so frame is definitely a future option!

All kinds of wonderful at Peterborough cathedral this evening, with a completely packed audience for a night of John Williams music performed by orchestra, chorus and the cathedral organ. Such an amazing building for listening to music!

I've noticed more 20mph zones popping up around and about. Given these stats, it seems a complete no-brainer to roll them out more widely. Certainly nicer to walk and cycle in these areas, and good that more people come home safely.

The Welsh 20mph default reduced casualties by 25% and insurance costs by £90m. If done in England expect reductions of 15,000 casualties pa and insurance by £2bn pa. Implementation cost would be approx £0.5bn. For comparison, 1st yr depreciation on new cars registered in England in 2024 was £78bn

By coincidence, we all commented during our work visit to Hampstead Heath earlier this week on how remarkably clear the view was from Parliament Hill. I'm absolutely sure these things are not unrelated - great news for anyone living, working or visiting London.

Enjoy! I live in a small village 2 miles from town in rural Lincolnshire and this treasure has quite literally been transformational. Wouldn't be without it for anything!
