I took a photograph of it from the side and noticed how chunky the collection plate holder was. A closer inspection showed the blue paint. It's the first one I've seen in person. My mum couldn't understand why I was so excited!

I think it must have been but there is another old post office with a Ludlow not far away (last week's offering). The current one is in the town centre in TG Jones.

I could print that image out at home from my own photograph!

I've just checked and push notifications are on for everything. Sometimes I get them but often I don't. This shows how much I look at my social media accounts some weeks!

I must try and enable notifications on here as I've only just seen this! I think that is the latest I have ever known post to be delivered! The latest for me is 4.30pm. It was a regular thing about 10 years ago.

I haven't been to Germany in 25 years and I can't remember the styling back then.

The little plaque mentions West Germany and the twinning was first arranged in 1980 so I don't know if German post boxes have been replaced since then.
