Maizie has been here for 6 months, and today, I saw her snuggling with Simon. There's been some alpha dog moments between her and Maxwell, but even they are starting to interact more.
We're boarding them instead of taking them on vaca, and I'm hoping they're not traumatized, but care for each other.

That's Maizie and Maxwell. They're the same age, but we adopted them 4 years apart from the same rescue. Maxwell was first. All 3 get along really well!

It's so hard when they get old and frail. Our little Simon was so sad when our Jack passed. We got him a little brother, and he perked back up. He's 14 now with heart failure but still plays with the big dogs.
