El trabajo, realizado en ratones transgénicos, combina optogenética, registros neuronales y algoritmos de IA. Con los resultados, el equipo ha creado a una herramienta abierta a la comunidad científica y podría tener  aplicaciones en enfermedades como el alzhéimer. Los resultados se han publicado en Science.
