As chair of LR-GAS (Linda Reynolds Grievance Appreciation Society) I regret to inform you all that our dear Linda's latest grievance - Grievance No 4,352 - has been dismissed by the NACC

Linda alleged the payment was corrupt or summat, and also she was never asked her opinion . . . I kid you not

Do You Grow Out of Autism?
Autism has come full circle; from perceptions of the disability as lifelong, to beliefs of “growing out of it” and back again, all shaping how we support autistic individuals.

The right for autistic people with intellectual disabilities (and other disabled people) to live outside of institutions was only granted by the US Supreme Court in 1999.
Perioidic reminder that the reason you didn't see autistic people with intellectual disabilities on the street five decades ago was not because they didn't exist. It's because they were sent away to institutions and their parents were told to put away pictures of them.
