From 16 July 2025, there is an additional way for people with pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme to apply for settled status.

Since March, our advice service has supported around 59 individuals with advice on the EU Settlement Scheme. Generally, most inquiries were in relation to permitted absences for pre-settled status users who wish to upgrade to settled status, and evidence requirements for settled status applications.

Since March, our advice service has supported around 59 individuals with advice on the EU Settlement Scheme. Generally, most inquiries were in relation to permitted absences for pre-settled status users who wish to upgrade to settled status, and evidence requirements for settled status applications.
From April to June 2025, we have seen and supported with their immigration issues over 89 EU and non EU nationals in Leicester. We have submitted 4 applications to the EUSS over the last three months and provided one off advice and other types of support for 85 people.
