Trump really really doesn't understand trade. But he understands extortion. His concept here is that consumers (you) are the "product" and and access to the product is something he can regulate. He wants a cut, doesn't care where it comes from.

1) The admin has been planning mass firings to begin in October since February
2) The work necessary to carry out mass firings is illegal during a shutdown, violating the Antideficiency Act, which carries a criminal penalty
3) This harms America, ridding us of talent and expertise

Delivery trucks have always illegally stopped in lanes, blocking traffic and making cycling dangerous. It's better now and more orderly, even if not perfect. The bus lanes and stops are a big improvement.

President Trump’s tariffs would be the equivalent of a 6% tax increase on the poorest 20% of families: high income families would pay closer to 2%. Lower-income people use more of their money to buy consumer products which are tariffed. Overall, increases inequality between rich and poor.

I just saw a FB community group post today where a woman was asking if there was anything cheaper than the ACA exchange in our state and tons of responses of "no that's the cheapest & it will get worse if the Republicans get their way". I saw similar comments from 6 people. People are getting it.
