In late July, Paul Ingrassia, the White House liaison for the Department of Homeland Security, arrived at a Ritz-Carlton in Orlando with a lower-ranking female colleague and others from their department. When the group reached the front desk, the woman learned she didn’t have a hotel room. Ingrassia then informed her that she would be staying with him, according to five administration officials familiar with the episode. Eventually the woman discovered that Ingrassia had arranged ahead of time to have her hotel room canceled so she would have to stay with him, three of those officials said.

This guy is 100% proof that anti Trump people can also just be complete and total assholes and miserable to everyone they interact with. There is a very certain brand of mid 50s/60s IT white guys that are the biggest assholes I've ever worked with. It's a late Gen X/early Boomer misery party.
Mark Paleologopoulus Bluesky profile Who was/(is?) in IT and claims to be a Curmudgeon (code for I'm just an asshole but want to pretend its cute) who insulted a fashion duo on here on Bluesky then doubled & tripled down. When I pointed out the world was full of interesting people with varied types of interests and hobbies he replied to me "Yeah it's pathetic" Also he claims to be a YA author and a Political consultant but he left an "i" out of the word Political in his profile so he isn't super great with paying attention to detail. Perhaps don't hire him as your political consultant what with the misspellings and the assholery

And there are people who reenact the Civil War on weekends, or collect dolls, or obsessively watch the Real Housewives or grow obscure mustaches or garden or do nothing but talk about their football fantasy leagues.

I'm not but I guess you could say sort of? My brother was one year older but was born with Down Syndrome. So I functioned as the oldest if that makes sense.
