A borrowed idea and a work in progress. I’m having a lot of fun with this. It’s a riff on Collin Muir’s book, Can Cat and Bird Be Friends? A super sweet story. If you don’t have it in your children’s book collection, pick it up!

Finally finished a mini drawing of my dog, Piper. 3 in x 3 in or so. She’s wearing her pink sequin bunny ears. (Her ears were cut before we adopted her. She likes to amuse her fans with silly replacements.)

Tried chalk as a medium over the last couple days at the Chalk Art Fest at Tanger Outlets. My teammate and I took first in the team category! She took care of everything underwater, I stayed above ground.
