This is almost certainly result of the trump administration cutting weather forecasting, including NOAA and the NWS.

The New York City controller was arrested for standing in the hallway outside of immigration court.
The dudes who arrested him, I won’t call them cops. They failed to produce a badge number, or their name, and they had no warrant.
