Is this just a way to try and stockpile players in the minors? Obviously DFAs put them back through waivers, but why else would they be doing this?

I've been following your work since you before you were at MASN, and it didn't occur to me that this would have effected you at all. Best of luck, keep the great work on the pod going and I can't wait to read you elsewhere!!

Safe to say at this point the rebuild is resetting on some level? Feels like this off-season is about establishing the new FO and organizational strategy/infrastructure. If they trade Gore/Abrams, they're not getting ML ready talent, right?

But man. To me, it feels like something is going on beyond 'Oh they're #Dodgers just wanna keep adding and just hoard trophies.'

Now, we all know this is fabricated and every team is capable of spending and some are openly choosing not to. Salary Cap would come with a floor and a ceiling, which forces teams to spend a minimum amount, thus opening markets for some players. I don't want one because I think they're stupid.

...it's been in years, and for the past few winters it's been so clear there are 'haves' and 'have nots' in baseball more now than there ever has been. A Salary Cap would, theoretically, level the playing field for teams and force everyone to spend in some capacity, which would Jumpstart free agency

Yeah that's the sad part is how it just feels like super intense sour grapes. And they lack of self awareness is funny

...is like me saying I can work at McDonald's because I've eaten there my whole life. Saleh didn't deserve to get axe, nor did Douglas. At some point you need to start building something and actually finish the build. Johnson is a spoiled child surrounded by 25 years of half built lego sets.
