It was 30 years' ago today, on 15th September 1995, that I stumbled across a small warbled in tussock grass at Lower Breck, North Ronaldsay, Orkney. After a ten minutes of heart racing panic it 'gave itself up' and was Orkney's first ever river warbler. #Birds #Orkney #Wildlife #LivingInThePast
