We have made progress but we still have a long way to go. This is a day to remember those we have lost, to remind others that HIV/AIDS hasn't gone away, it doesn't discriminate and to know your status.

My friends were dying. It’s what we did.
AIDS is not over.

OTD 22 years ago Section 28 was repealed in the UK ,caused by the media and politicians , Thatcher was an instigator. portraying the gay community as deviants and predatory to children ,we fought and won ..now the same people are doing the same to our Trans brothers and sisters.. the fight goes on

The trailblazing transgender rights activist Miss Major has passed away at the age of 78.
Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.
