I'm not sure an additional feature is appropriate, but from my standpoint, members of a list are accounts that you are looking at without establishing any connection beyond general interest (e.g. reading a magazine), and following does establish that connection in some way (via active subscription)

Here's a nice example from this very post, utilizing label feeds to help contextualize things like links. Nobody HAS TO subscribe to ANY of it, but they CAN. If Skywatch isn't to their taste, they can find a label curator that does, create their own, or not use labels at all. Same for filtering.

I do think perhaps Bsky could do more work in having easy tutorials and getting the word out so that can be understood more broadly. (5/5)

They can, of course, be untrustworthy themselves, but there's always a sense of personal responsibility in selecting trusted sources/curators to apply their filters against your own feed. (4/5)

We often rely on individual list curators who we can select ourselves and who have done the work to apply filters in various different ways to achieve a certain goal (usually descibed in the list). (3/5)

Bsky doesn't and shouldn't ban anyone, by design. They are responsible for providing the users with the tools to do so in a manner of THEIR choosing, such as lists + blocklists. (2/5)
