I captured this #GaussianSplat of the Mauna Kea Silversword, an endangered plant that only grows on the upper elevations of the volcano, which is in active preservation. The specularity of this beautiful plant is a great candidate for this capture technique. #NianticScaniverse #BigIsland #Hawaii

Another splat from Sat night's "Carved" @ Descanso Gardens. This thing was perfectly evenly lit, fully traversable, and I used the long selfie stick to get a good portion of the roof, but the main obstacle this time was just getting around the loads of people everywhere. #Scaniverse #GaussianSplat

My favorite moment in “Carved” at Descanso Gardens was probably the lowest-key one. The spooky synth arpeggio, the thick fog and the gently flickering, highly detailed centerpiece fixtures in the “Mulberry Pond” had off-the-charts vibes.
