I know I should like all creatures, but this vulture is eating my sticklebacks and frogs. Soon the pond will be denuded of all other life.

Well, the new dog groomer we tried didn’t seem to understand what a wire-haired dachshund should look like. Eyebrows…gone. Mouth whiskers….gone. Crumpet has been a little depressed.

He spent some of his holiday this summer (and he’s often on holiday) in the UK. There was considerable visual opposition to his stay. 🫣🤣 He possibly wished we didn’t speak the same language as he will have understood every word.

Ours is a forty a day giggle. She LOVES to make us laugh. Beware though, she was a bed destroyer par excellence for the first two years. She was easily trained for recall, but a terrible barker! Should have called her Sue.
