Imagine if we had a public holiday to celebrate books and writing instead of a horse race? Or instead of a sporting event - or even as well!

We need our political leaders to empower cultural ambassadors and advocates to demonstrate why stories matter. Specifically, why Australian stories are crucial to our understanding of who we are and where we come from.
