A someone who has written extensively about the eugenic roots that permeates those who claim to be building so-called artificial general intelligence, I'm here to tell you to please NOT compare criticism against corporations claiming to build a machine god, with eugenics. The audacity.

if you're writing a sentence that sounds like eugenics but you go "oh that's fine to say because it's not a real person" (whatever that means) you may want to consider what made you okay with saying that.

Have you seen how many AV companies have gone out of business? Billions have been burned, and nobody tried this because it wouldn't be effective (and it's against the basic concept of the technology). If you walk through the steps of actually taking this path, you'll see why.

the entire modern AV tech stack comes out of the DARPA Challenge, which had one basic requirement: no infrastructure dependency (because military). Literally nobody in the AV space wants to solve self-driving problems with infrastructure. Nobody! This is a vibes thing people spook themselves with.
