We (my better half and I) were in NM at Bosque del Apache watching the snow geese, as the sun began to set, they all fly away to their overnight spots, which are flooded fields. Imagine hundreds and hundreds of them taking off in waves flying just overhead, my wife was wearing a hat and got a gift 🤓

A few that I have captured this was late in the afternoon early evening. They are still arriving in our area. Unfortunately the field they overwinter in is having a huge damn mall built on it. The owner has set aside a small parcel of the land the owls use, but remains to be seen if they will stay.
