We (my better half and I) were in NM at Bosque del Apache watching the snow geese, as the sun began to set, they all fly away to their overnight spots, which are flooded fields. Imagine hundreds and hundreds of them taking off in waves flying just overhead, my wife was wearing a hat and got a gift 🤓

I have groups that sit high in a tree in my front yard overlooking the platform feeders doing the very same thing 🤓

I am in the same situation, need to be closer to major medical services due to being a spinal cord injury survivor.

I don’t see myself living again in LA, it has changed so much and like you I am similarly tired of the greed and gentrification. I want nature, quiet, Mediterranean climate and a sense of community, the search continues!!

We looked at a few places there while we were there but none of them were desirable. The search continues 🤓

We love the Central Coast, Los Osos is a great little town. We have friends in Cambria and Morro Bay. We are there every year at least once.
