Oh and I actually don't want any of my devices to have a built in microphone except my telephone or camera... Especially not my car.
Buttons are back. Knobs are back. Dumb devices are back. Own-it-forever software is back. Print is back. Personal websites and chronological feeds are back. Touching grass is back. People keep saying 2015, but it’s not far enough. The entire 2010s were a mistake. We must retvrn to… 2009.
Amazingly, reaction times using screens while driving are worse than being drunk or high—no wonder 90 percent of drivers hate using touchscreens in cars. Finally the auto industry is coming to its senses.

Honestly, I'm here for this.

Hi Mark,

If you actually gave a shit about real answers and solutions, you could invest some money into finding out from actual analysts and researchers instead of being a jerk On Here.

Hope that helps!
I would love to see a version of UHC here.

No one on here wants to address issues. They just want the magical fairy dust version of UHC to suddenly appear.

Other countries do it so ….

We aren’t other countries
So you're proposing keeping an existing broken system (healthcare) because we hsve doctors and nurses in debt from another broken system (education loans). When do we tackle the broken systems that are bankrupting people?

I'm never escaping the nerd allegations.

Lmao. Wtf does he think is happening *RIGHT NOW* in the for-profit healthcare system in the U.S.?
How much are you going to pay doctors?

Which current hospitals get shut down ?

What happens if doctors opt out of the system ? Who is going to invest in new curative therapies. You ?

How much in taxes pr year do you think it's possible to collect if you took every penny from billionaires?
Half the amount that everyone currently pays could provide universal healthcare. Private health companies don’t need to exist. Eliminate them. And use your collective buying power and economies of scale to get it done. Every cent of their profit is healthcare denied.

If you’re wondering why your friends in academia are a little on edge right now, it’s because an eighteen-year-old who hasn’t done the reading, doesn’t look at the assignment, and has does no critical thinking skills more complex than “because I think it’s in the Bible” can literally end your career

Take your pick: misogyny, racism, eugenics, a belief that if a woman cannot successfully procreate then she might as well die...
If your alleged goal is to increase the birth rate why would you murder pregnant women?
Earlier this year, ProPublica found that the sepsis rate in second-trimester pregnancy loss hospitalizations increased by more than 50% under Texas’ abortion ban.

Here’s how we did our analysis.

Super done shopping online. For the 4th time this year, I have received the wrong item and I end up having to take it back to a store to get a refund anyway. Might as well skip the middle step of being frustrated by every large, online retailer putting the onus on the customer to fix their mistakes.

It's so demoralizing to watch the (very understandable) collapse of faith in the CDC guidelines and the medical profession more generally.
Handed a patient a printout of a CDC summary.

They were suspicious.

I pointed out the publication date.

It was from 2024.

“Oh, ok, so this is from when we could trust them.”

Will never forget the pastor who said my dad did not deserve life saving healthcare because he wasn't part of a church (I attended the church where that man was a pastor tho)
