Holy shit, if wikipedia can be believed (which I generally think it can but this seems unbelievable), this "worm" is a lizard.

I always forget legless lizards are a real thing. Next time, the PCs in my Shadowdark group are getting a swarm of these fellas dropped on them rather than snakes!

I was there a early to help set up, and I saw they had a Little Free Library in the employee area. I knew what I had to do...

Later I was chatting with a beertender & D&D came up. I said "have you looked at the little free library today?" only for him to check out the book & be impressed! 2/2

On Tuesday the non-profit that I am the board chair of held our big annual fundraiser at Odell Brewing Co. here in town. (They're a fantastic brewery whose owners are very dedicated to things like affordable housing.)

Yesterday at the Arcane Library, shipped a Shadowdark order to someone in my town. I always think it's pretty cool when this happens, especially because our population is only 170,000.

People are playing this game everywhere, and it's only growing!

I am so ashamed and embarrassed. When editing my Shadowdark project, I just discovered and edited out three instances where I referred to checks as "saves!"

Maybe that's not so bad for 70,000 words though?
