I haven’t gotten Brindlewood Bay to the table yet, but I adore Jason Cordova’s design and I’m eager to do so. Its system makes a lot of sense for Vaesen.

I also haven’t played The Between yet, which seems like a bridge between Vaesen and Brindlewood. This would be a fun thing to explore.

I’ve never played a gumshoe system game, but it really sounds like a system meant for investigation would be a better fit for me.

This was something I experienced with Vaesen, too. Not my favorite system, but the art, setting, and build quality of the book are so lovely.
