Some Kyiv residents feared an attack this morning when they heard small explosions and then saw smoke.

It was 'just' a car fire, but a man has now been arrested after locals detained him, saying he'd deliberately started the fire.
It's not yet known if it belonged to a soldier.

More innocent victims of Russia's aggression in Kherson, where a pregnant woman and her two year old son were briefly trapped under rubble.

The invaders shelled the house of the 31 year old, who is expecting her child in August. Both she and the toddler suffered blast injuries.

Work continued all night in Kyiv's Obolon district, to make safe the site of Russia's missile attack yesterday morning.

The Emergency Services released some cool photos of their work and we should never forget the vital contribution these heroes play in the war in saving civilians.

Russia is still killing of course - a night without drone and missile attacks changes nothing.

Aerial/glide bombs still cause huge damage and grief.
A 48 year old man died here in Tokarivka village, in Kharkiv region, when his has was destroyed

Two other women needed treatment

A part from India is discovered in Russian weapons for the 1st time, according to Ukraine's MOD.

It's a clock buffer from Aura Semiconductor.
In total 200 new components were found in 6 different Russian weapons.

It doesn't mean India's helping, but someone's busting sanctions

Let me start with Russia's losses.

1350 is the number of invaders lost in the war in just the last 24 hours, split between dead, dying and maimed.

Already losses after the first week of April are 3.5% up on March and currently running at the 4th highest losses per day.

The luxury of a long unbroken sleep for many in Ukraine as Sunday night passed off without drone or missile attacks.

But yesterday started in the worst way with a large attack on Kyiv, catch up with that and bombed out Russian camps, a ruined stadium and lots more, here:

Sunday 6 April is Day 1138 of the full, illegal invasion by Russia. The quest to take Kyiv in 3 days continues!

The humiliation of failing militarily has just 'inspired' the invading war criminals to kill civilians at will.
As I type Kyiv is under missile attack, so let's begin..
